Initié par les éditions Moffi, en collaboration avec l’association des écrivains et écrivaines du Togo et la fondation Asaal, ce concours placé sous le thème « L’Amour maternel » est organisé à l’intention des jeunes de 15 à 35 ans.
L’objectif est de valoriser et promouvoir la littérature africaine, en particulier togolaise. Il s’agit aussi par le choix de ce thème, de célébrer la femme à travers la littérature.
Le Prix Spécial Féminin de la Fondation Asaal a été remporté par TIASSOU Ahoefa Ida avec sa nouvelle intitulée « Maman salvatrice ».
